Windows 95 is the first operating system in the windows series which got international acclaim. Even though windows has released 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 prior to release of windows 95, no operating system is as successful as this. It reached worldwide fame because of its device compatibility and attractive GUI design. This was the beginning of the most modern day windows operating system features. This is the first operating system in windows series which allowed users to set screen savers and wallpapers.
