This is a Buddha statue which depicts Maitreya Buddha. This statue was under constructions for nearly 90 years starting from 713 CE. This statue is situated in the Lishan city facing the confluence of three rivers namely Qingyi, Minjiang and Dadu. The height of the statue is 71m. Environmental changes and pollution affect this statue a lot.

The tallest statue of Lord Shiva is present in Nepal. The height of the statue is about 44 m and was completed in the year 2010. The statue construction costed around 80 million Rupees. This was actually built by an Industrialist named Kamal Jain. The Lord Shiva statue is called as Kailashnath Mahadev.The statue is copper statue and other materials were also used for the construction. This statue attracts hundreds of devotees everyday. It took around 7 years to construct this statue.

This is the tallest statue in the world depicting Vairocana Buddha standing 128 m tall. When the pedestal facilities taken in to consideration, the height of the statue crosses 200 m and is approximately 208 m. It is situated in Fodushan Scenic Area, Lushan County, Henan, China. This statue was completed in the year 2002. It attracts millions of tourists from all over the world.
