This is the only international airport in Bhutan. This is an extremely risky airport to land and take off. Highly skillful pilots are required to handle this airport runway. So far only 8 pilots are licensed to land in this airport. This airport connect Nepal, Parts of India, China and Thailand. This is considered to be one of the dangerous airports in the world.
