This is situated in the Uttara Kannada District of Karnataka. The shiva statue is 37 meters tall in sitting posture. This statue is situated in a exotic location by the sea shore of Arabian sea. There is also a temple in the complex with a gigantic gopura ( Temple tower ), one of the tallest temple towers in India. The statue is visible from a long distance around.
