This is a multi-purpose stadium which hosts cricket and football. This is second largest cricket stadium in India in terms of capacity. It can allow as many as 60000 members to be seated. This was the home ground of Kochi Tuskers IPL team. Few one day International matches were held here. This is not a frequent international cricket venue
