The girl running in the photograph is Kim Phuc. This photograph was captured by Nick Ut after Napalm bomb attack. She is running with severe burns on her back. This Picture was taken when she was 9 years old. This picture won both Pulitzer prize and World press prize for the year 1972. The picture became the most significant picture taken during Vietnam war.

However Kim Phuc survived from the severe burns. Now Kim Phuc resides in Canada and she is a Doctor .A book "Girl in the Picture" was written by Denise chong , a Biography of Kim Phuc.
