Generally, Ganesh Statues or idols are made of clay and revered in the period of Ganesh Chathurti and later immersed in water as a traditional practice in India. It is rare to see permanent Ganesha Statues. One such rare but tall Ganesh statue is present in the Kohlapur, Mumbai. It took 18 months to finish this statue. The height of the statue is more than 80 feet including the base.
