Veera Abhaya Anjaneya Swami statue situated in Paritala town near Vijayawada, is the tallest statue in India and tallest Hanuman statue in the world. Hanuman statues are found in many temples through out India in various postures. The height of the statue is 41 m. The statue was completed in the year 2003. The second tallest statue in India is the Tiruvalluvar statue situated in Kanyakumari.
