Though India is not a famous name in the world soccer, North east India's one of the major sports is football. In fact Salt lake football stadium is the second largest stadium in the world in terms of capacity. Palzor stadium situated in Gangtok, Sikkim, India is one of the main football venues in India. This stadium is renovated with good facilities and has a seating capacity of 25000. This stadium is used for various purposes in Sikkim. The altitude of the stadium is one of the highlights. It is the home ground for United Sikkim Football club.
