Sharjah cricket stadium always has a place in many moments of cricket history. This stadium holds the Guinness record for hosting most number of One day internationals. This stadium has hosted more than 200 ODI matches. Sharjah cricket stadium ruled the cricket world in 90's and early 2000's. Sharjah One day matches had an extraordinary response from the cricket lovers. However due to match fixing allegations this stadium lost its popularity after 2004. This stadium also hosted few test matches. This stadium turned out to be venue for many nerve breaking matches between India and Pakistan.
Cricket lovers would never forget the consecutive magical one man show of master blaster Sachin Tendulkar against Australia in 1998.
