Sardar Patel stadium is located in Motera, Ahmedabad. It is one of the largest stadiums of India which allows about 54000 members to view the match. It is the regular host to International test and ODI matches. It has hosted the most entertaining quarter final of 2011 world cup between India and Australia. Since Gujarat has no IPL franchise, The venue has not got enough chance to host IPL matches. However few IPL matches are played here and this stadium is also one of the home venues for Rajasthan Royals.
